Holiday Celebrations

In addition to Shabbat observance, TBH celebrates many other Jewish holidays.

High Holidays

  • The High Holidays are an important time of the year as we welcome a New Year shofar and reflect deeply on where we have been and where we are going. It is also the time when we come together as a community in our largest numbers. All are welcome to celebrate the holidays at TBH.

    Sukkot Tisch and dinners

  • The Sukkot Tisch is Friday, October 2, 2015 at 6pm. We’ll meet in the sukkah (weather permitting) and join in a potluck celebration. If it’s rainy, we’ll go inside.
  • Simchat Torah celebration

  • We will be celebrating Simchat Torah at 6pm on Monday, October 5, 2015. Come join us as we unroll the entire Torah scroll!!
  • Hanukkah partyHanukkah

    • We have a congregational Hanukkah party where everyone is invited to celebrate the holiday with community candlelighting (bring your own menorah!), latkes and more. Details about the 5776 celebration will be posted in the fall. Let us know if you would like to help with the 5776 Hanukkah party.

    • On the second night of Passover TBH hosts a community seder, when we celebrate the Festival of Freedom together with story and song and food! Our 5775 seder was a great success. Let us know if you’d like to help with the 5776 seder.
